Here’s some questions we’re often asked.
Do you offer a professional fundraising service?
Yes, as a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and registered with ICO, we offer a professional
fundraising service.
We have over 15 years’ experience of both strategic and operational fundraising. Our approach follows
the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and the Charities Act 2016. This ensures you are compliant and your organisation is protected.
We also have experience of building fundraising operations from scratch, as well as leading large marketing and fundraising teams.
What skills make a good bid writer?
A good bid writer should have attention to detail, good research skills and an ability to write a good case
for support.
Building relationships with funders is vital, as is checking eligibility and reading the small print to make
sure the fund is relevant for your organisation.
It’s also important to rule out funders who are unlikely to fund as this saves valuable time and money.
And once funding is secured, then it is important to ensure that the right stewardship is in place to ensure
correct usage, relevant publicity and creation of impact reports.
